All IAOS members are invited to present proposals for Contributed Papers for the next IAOS Conference that will take place in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on December 6-8, 2016. The theme of the IAOS2016 conference is: “The Spirit of Official Statistics: Partnership and continuous innovation”. The Programme will include keynote speakers, invited paper sessions, workshops, panels, special late breaking sessions and contributed paper sessions.
Submissions for IAOS contributed paper proposals will be accepted as of February 1st, 2016 to March 31st , 2016.
Proposals should contain the following information:
- Title of the paper
- Speaker’s information (name, email, affiliation, and indication that the speaker’s agreed to attend IAOS 2016).
- Preliminary (very!) short abstract (final abstracts will be requested upon information that the paper is accepted, shortly after the deadline).

The IAOS EXCO meeting was conducted on Dec 22 2015 via teleconference. The agenda of the teleconference included items related to IAOS strategic plan 2015-2017, the IAOS Statistical Journal, plans for IAOS 2016 conference that is planned in December 2016 in Abu Dhabi, IAOS communication plan as well as other issues pertaining to IAOS mandate.
